Dupsy Beauty Studio — Salon Management & Analytics Platform

Dupsy Beauty Studio is a full-stack, mobile-first Progressive Web App (PWA) built for beauty salons to streamline daily operations, automate revenue settlements, and deliver real-time business insights. The platform serves three user roles — Staff, Managers, and Owners — each with tailored dashboards and workflows: Staff log services performed, sell products, request loans, and track their earnings transparently. Managers review and approve/reject service records and product sales in batch, manage gifts, and oversee team performance. Owners configure revenue-split percentages, generate monthly settlements, manage inventory and expenses, and access comprehensive financial analytics — including P&L statements, cash flow reports, and period comparisons. Key capabilities include a configurable service catalog with categories and base pricing, batch approval workflows for fast record processing, automated revenue-split settlements with per-staff override support, product inventory management with low-stock alerts and expiry tracking, staff loan management with auto-deduction from settlements, expense tracking with recurring cost support, and a real-time analytics dashboard with KPI cards, charts, and staff performance leaderboards. The app is installable on any device, supports offline access with a cached shell, and delivers notifications via in-app alerts, Web Push, and email. Settlements and reports can be exported as CSV or PDF. Built with a React + TypeScript frontend and a Django REST API backend, the platform is containerized with Docker, deployed via CI/CD on Render, and designed with a custom rose-gold brand design system featuring full light/dark mode support.
