Hey DEV, I'm Tobore. Let's actually connect.
I've been on here for a while now, mostly writing and lurking, but I realized I don't actually know that many of you. So this is me fixing that.
I'm based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I build websites, and I also do technical documentation and content writing. Most of what I write comes from projects I've actually built or shipped, not stuff I read about somewhere. I currently hold the DEV React Top Author badge and I recently won the Google I/O 2026 Writing Challenge for Technical Writers.
Right now I'm building my career, taking on freelance dev and writing work, and studying for AWS SAA-C03 on the side. I also run BuildWithTee, which is basically my attempt at building in public: code, write, connect.
What I'm looking for here
- Other devs and technical writers to swap notes with
- People building things in public who want an accountability buddy or just someone to bounce ideas off
- Anyone doing tech documentation or content writing who wants to talk shop
- People across continents, not just Nigeria or Africa. I want this to be genuinely global
